Creating Another Pattern

Finding the comfort in just BEING would bring us more in balance with the rest of life. The trouble is that our endless search to subjugate and subdue man and nature has some benefits for those doing the subjugating and subduing; but increasingly there are greater negative consequences that this pattern of life is creating for humanity and the planet. I have some reason to hope that a greater spiritual alignment and understanding from meditation and awareness can open us to another pattern of living based on the recognition of our oneness and the power of this truth. This understanding will, in my opinion, help transform us as individuals and as a society in which love and truth will be the basis for our thoughts, words, and deeds. This, admittedly, is a grand vision and I am hesitant to offer it since it seems so far from the present human condition. But, still, it is a workable pattern that anyone can demonstrate in their daily life. So, why shouldn't it be possible to extend this pattern out to society. Although this vision is tremendous and perhaps too grand for those with a limited vision of life, it has already started throughout the ages, and we can be the link to help nurture it and grow it.
