Serve Life to Save the Planet

Some claim that the earth can only be saved by a being or beings of light and love. They wait patiently for those beings to arrive from spiritual realms or other planets to save us from ourselves. But, they are only partially right in that the earth must be saved by beings of light and love; yet those life serving beings have to be us. We have created this world from choices made and choices left unmade. We can choose to serve the one life as a being of light and love, or we can choose to serve that bitter illusion of separation that feeds the flame of grasping, greed, and hatred.

Remember the atomic bombs that we unleashed on Japan, the millions murdered in Hitler's gas chambers, the tens of millions killed by Stalin, World War I and II, and the list of horrors too countless to mention in the last century; and still no divine beings arrived saving us from ourselves. No supernatural beings will step in to stop the destruction of the planet. Rather, that is our task; to become one with the light and love that is life so that we can serve our brothers and sisters to a better tomorrow.
